We're going to have a short KU contest at the end of the night, there will be a prize for the winner! We'll also be at Nomad for SXKU V on Sunday, March 22nd. Bring your out-of-town friends, and see you this Saturday night!
So my regular karaoke bar is now a no go....now that we're expecting (YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!), I can't stand being around the smoke. (Morning sickness can suck a big one, BTW).
I'm usually the DD for friends, but where's a good joint down South (think Oak Hill/Westlake/290/Mopac-ish) that has karoake on the weekends AND is non-smoking?
I'd gladly go on a weeknight, but being a teacher, that's a negatory.
Big fat brownie intarweb points if they serve food late too; seeing as prego ladies gotta eat! =)
TIA, ESP, HBO, and all that....ready GO!
- Current Mood: musical
Preferably not a private room place.
The full songlist is here, new songs include:
Frank Black - Hang On To Your Ego (by The Beach Boys)
John Cale - Fear Is A Man's Best Friend
The Hold Steady - Constructive Summer
The Mountain Goats - Lovecraft In Brooklyn
Okkervil River - Westfall
Old 97's - Big Brown Eyes
The Vaselines - Son Of A Gun
Saturday, 11/22, at Mohawk, closing out the night for Fabrication 6. Better save your fanciest sleeves for this one. Or just come naked (less is more) and let the friendly fashionistas dress you to the elevens!
AND we'll be back at Nomad on Saturday, 12/6!
Any recommendations? Again, Japanese/rooms is optional.
Thanks in advance.
